The Philippine Urological Association needed a website for sharing their research journal. I built them a website using the open-source platform Open Journal Systems.

The Philippine Urological Association needed a website to publish their official research journal online.

Unfortunately, the journal plugins available for WordPress felt lacking in many aspects so I searched for other open-source solutions and finally settled on Open Journal Systems.

As this was my first time to work on an online research journal, it was a great learning process not just with setting up OJS on my own cloud server, but also with the particular needs of publishing a scientific journal on the internet.

I hope to find more opportunities in the future with these type of projects that benefit the scientific/academic communities, on top of my usual business clients.

PUA Midyear Convetion 2019

Also built for the Philippine Urological Association, this smaller (compared to PUA 2019) midyear convention website contains information about speakers, a calendar of events, registration form and travel information. The website is built with WordPress and hosted under my hosting service at viganwebhosting.com.

I created a dynamic WordPress and Elementor Pro website for International Health Insurance that speaks directly to young digital nomads seeking flexible global coverage with an attractive, mobile-friendly design.

Using WordPress and WooCommerce, I built a custom business directory for Peptree, an Australian start-up company that gathered the best wedding suppliers and venues in one website.

I created the teaser website for the Philippine Urological Association annual convention for 2020. The teaser website will be eventually expanded to contain more details about the convention and online registration to workshops.
