Palo Alto Bed & Breakfast, located in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines, is notable for using wooden construction materials sourced from sustainable plantations. This “green” bed and breakfast also uses solar energy. It stands today as one of the most eco-friendly and relaxing tourist lodging in Puerto Princesa City and is regularly top-rated on TripAdvisor.
Ms. Pauline Ylaya, B&B owner, is my "repeat" client. I also re-designed the Palo Alto website back in 2012 as well as the website of their other family business.
For the 2014 redesign of Palo Alto B&B, I created a long-scrolling homepage to present the most important information right on the first page such as the rooms with booking buttons, promo packages, information about the B&B, and hotel location in a Google Map. I built this custom WordPress hotel theme with Woothemes Canvas and a custom child-theme.
The website also uses responsive layout for better viewing in mobile devices.
